Roger was a late developer educationally. It was not until he took English literature at A level, never having studied that subject before, that he succeeded at anything academic. He became a teacher, headteacher, Ofsted lead inspector and education consultant to try and help others discover their hidden talents. He wanted to write creatively, but before retiring all he managed were 200 Ofsted reports.
